I came home today with my alarm sounding on one of the pumps (have 2 x 6100's). I opened it up and did not see anything out of the ordinary (snails, calcium build-up, etc.). I also just cleaned it about a few months ago (vinegar soak). I coudn't figure it out so I swapped impellars. The swap made the other pump's alarm sound... what the heck? I compared the two impellars side by side and they did not look any different. I then swapped the "good" impellar w/ the non working stream and the alarm sounded again. Can't figure out what the problem is. Any suggestions? I'm soaking it again in vinegar to see if I can remove the bottom bushing since it seems to be stuck and possibly causing the alarm and keeping it from spinning freely. I also have the newer one piece impellers FYI. Any advice would be great!
