Issue with Moon Cycle

My moon cycle just started having issues. It will not automatically turn on. When I look at the status in the "current status list" during a moon phase it says "ON". But when I look at the actual light it is not lit at all. If I manually turn on the moon light, then switch it back to "auto" it dims back to the proper current moon phase.

Why do I have to manually turn it on, and then put it back into auto? When I wake up in the morning the moon dose go off according to its schedule, just not on!

Any ideas??

I suspect that some appliance is causing a small amount electrical noise and it is interfering with X10 communication. The moon cycle on command is sent only once no matter what the X10 repeat interval is. So if the moon on command is corrupted the lunar light will remain off for that day. All other X10 commands are repeated at the X10 interval so that is probably masking the communication problem that is sometimes present with X10 devices in your home. Follow the tips in http://www.neptunesys.com/hardwareFAQ.htm#X10PROBLEM to track down the root cause of the interference.

Makes a little sense, but I have 19 other devices running X10 with no issue all thought tank setup. I understand how it sends the signal once to the moon device. I guess I will try to see if something else is making noise, or maybe I will try changing house, and channel number. thanks for the info. Merry Christmas
