Issue with plate coral?

I have a purple rimmed plate coral about 5 inches in diameter that has been in my tank about 6 weeks. It seems to be doing very well overall. It has lifted one side of itself off of the sand a slight bit, and i notice that a small amount of the calcium skeleton about the size of a dime has become exposed? I also notice a very small amount of browning on the edge near that area. The top surface looks 100% normal and healthy. Is this anything ot be concerned about? Will it heal?

No pics yet, will try to get later. Water is sg 1.024, mg 1320, calcium 440, alk 9.3, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, ph 8.1, nitrate about 5ppm, and temp 78. I feed mainly Rod's fish food almost daily, sometimes mix in pellets, spirolina, and mysis. Have focus fed 3 or 4 times over that 6 weeks. He is about 28 inches from the lights, which is a diy LED setup which I a monly running at about 50% power, low to mod flow. All the other corals are very happy and growing.

The damage is only on the underside. Top looks great.

i would dip it to stop any infection starting.is it on crushed coral or sand.probable happened in shipping and this how it looks now.try to put it on a htat plastic grate or pvc so it off the sand and the spot is exposed for it to heal.feed in minced foods with selcon or zoa or anyother kind of vitamin mix.a little daily or every other day.once healed wich it can place back on sand.gl a pic helps but dont stress him out much after the dip.
