Issues after treating with Flatworm Exit

I have been trying to get rid of the flatworms in my tank (150g reef) for a while by just sucking out as many of the flatworms I can see, plus I added a sixline wrasse and a scooter dragonet (Synchiropus ocellatus), which I know may or may not eat the flatworms, but I wanted to add these fish anyways.

The flatworms started affecting some of my corals so I decided to try Salifert flatworm exit. I followed all the instructions, sucked out all I could see, added flatworm exit as per instructions, removed any dead/dying flatworms, turned on a carbon filled canister, did a 20g water change, kept skimmer on"¦then 1 day later I find my bicolor angel and my scooter dragonet dead. Could these deaths be from the treatment? Did I do anything incorrectly?

On the instructions if you see any flatworms left in the tank you are suppose to repeat the procedure, but I'm afraid if I do it again I may loose more fish. Please let me know what you think I can do to get rid of these flatworms. Thanks for your help.

Check for basic params like ammonia; if a ton of flatworms died, an ammonia spike could be the problem.

+1. The med could have killed all of the flatworms and that would in turn cause a HUGE ammonia spike. Any time you dose a med in the DT to kill something, you need to keey a close eye on water parameters.
