Hi guys, I just recently purchased an Outer Orbit 250watt MH/ 4x64watt T5's with 6 lunars. Ever since upgrading from my 150watt Mh, 4 flourecents 2 lunars by Coralife, Ive had a heck of a time battling with algae green, and every 2 days brown on the windows. The light is the cause obviously. How long will this last?? I own a 54 gal. CORNER tank. I purchased an open brain coral and a torch, both dyed within 2weeks of owning it. Could the light be TOO STRONG?? I was advised here, by LFS and websites 200watts would be fine

how close is the light to the water? also did you test for phosphate? did you light aclimate the corals?
