thanks, I had a flashlight in one hand and a camera in the other and adjusted the e-focus buttons with my nose LOL

in a month or so, once the tank settles down, I would love to have someone with a D-SLR and a macro lens to take some decent photos of my corals

Mark...

Things are looking good!!! and thanks again

I hate to say this...but look at this coral in the top right at the branch. I see a red dot. make sure that is not those red bugs. HAte to see that with all the nice pieces.

this came out nice but you can see where the bright parts are all washed out and white, in life it does not look like that

here is typical of what I get, the lighter stuff looks white and the normal parts look dark

I just showed my orange cap it's Mommy! .....I think it has a thing for your Purple cap though.

Looks great! I really like how you placed your LR. It has a funky edge, especially the right side.

I need to keep up on this thread, I had been having a few electrical problems, namely, my DC-8 had been popping it's breaker almost daily, when I would go to reset it, it was very hot, additionally my GFCI would drip randomly, and occasionally the main breaker would trip.

I found that the tank was on the same circuit as about 90% of the lights and plugs in my condo, and that shutting various things off like ceiling fans would trip the GFCI, I remedied this by pulling a dedicated 20A circuit to my tank and installed 2 new GFCIs in a surface mount water proof box

today I installed 2 Expansion Sockets one for the chiller and one for the halides, the DC-8 now stays cool to the touch. I also installed a larger evacuation fan to cool the "dry section" of my stand, it comes on any time that the halides, VHOs or chiller are on
