I havent seen a 4' rail... where did you get yours? Or did you simply cut a 6' one? Maybe I could just use one of the 3.5' extensions...

I just cut mine from the 6f. It came with the stopper screw so you can set it anywhere you want.

Reefer 714... depending on if you want to ship it or not, Id take it. I dont need/want a 6' unit... your 4' unit would work perfect. I wonder if it would be economically more sensible to just order one though....hmmm....

Hello Mike, i sold my Lumenmax long time ago as i find Lumenarc III deliver better light. Both of my T-5 pendants sold as well .

I just bought one lumenmax off another reefer on here and was about to order another one. I was palnning on running two of them with 400's and two 4 bulb teks on the sides. Please tell me this will be bright enough.

Are you getting the big reflector or the smaller kind? If you go with 2 large Lumenarc, you don't need the Tek. JMO

How's this new spinning contraption? Give the 14.5kSE Gieseman bulb a try. Hahnmeister turned me onto this bulb and it's better then anything I've seen before. It's a true HQI rated SE bulb.

Cool, thanks for the info. The Solar revolution working very well. I'll give the Gieseman a try couple months from now. I just bought two Reeflux and 1 Ushio 10K. So far i am very happy with the reeflux. Ushio 10k kinda dull compare to the Reeflux JMO.

You can get away with 2x400w on Lumenmax without using Super atinic suppliment. Unless you want to simulate dust to dawn. Be very careful with the reflector, make sure you clean it weekly if you see any salt spray....

The Ushio should also be a true HQI rated bulb (unless its got CWA in the model number, then its a low-pressure probe start).

The Reeflux is American Made, no? You never know with newer lamps... they could be HQI, but most 400s are not.

Hmm... possibly then, but most CoralVue stuff in the past has been of cheaper make, so I wouldnt hold my breath.
