Two weeks ago 12 baby dwarf seahorses were born-7 are still alive. Today the same male gave birth to 8 more and then was dancing with a female again. I guess he forgot to wait two weeks before trying again. All this after a couple of months of no births. Sorry no pictures. I can't take any that show well enough. They are in a 5 gallon bowfront acyrlic tank. There is a deep sand bed with a couple of nasarius (sp?) snails, 1 turbo snail, many copepods, and the seahorses. Filtered by a large sponge filter and an extra air stone. I use fresh sea water for the water changes.

19 more babies were born today. I hope he stays away from the female and takes it easy for a bit. We now have 7 4 week old babies, 2 2 week old babies, and 19 new borns. When I get batteries I'll see if I can get you some pictures.
