I have tons of Kenya trees in my tank and i want them all gone. I want to convert to SPS but i cant until there all removed, any of them left im my tank on Wednesday are going down the toilet.


I have this monster of a DIY skimmer. I ran it on my 265 with good results. Skimmer can be upgraded to support 2 inputs but i don't have the parts for that.
The pump i used on it was a Iwaki MD70 that is also available

Last i remember the Gen X was pretty loud.

How do you tune that AquaC EV 180 skimmer just right??? I can never get mine to tune in properly. I may have to change out the pump, I think it was run on a mag 5 that was modified to work as a mag 7 or 7 to 9, something like that. I bought it that way.....

I took a bunch of Trees to L & L about a year ago. They seemed happy to ge tthem and gave me a little store credit.

I close my air input then set my water height to the very bottom of the riser chamber then open the air to 1/2 and adjust from there as it breaks in. Its a little touchy but once its dialed in it works great. Also using a stronger pump then suggested i hear works well.
