hey evryone, the new 75 is set up. first off thanks for the tank dave. also i would REALLY like to thank barrett for giving me the past week of his time to fabricate the acrylic plates and a killer stand. also thanks susan for sleeping through our power tool symphony late throughout the night :) anyways on to the pics. theres no background on it now, should get to that soon. also excuse the pictures, im a horrendous photographer and dont understand white balance. on with the show.

and heres the barrettbuilt (tm) sump :) pardon the skimmer in the return area, havent found enough to time to get it in the right chamber. i hope to finish that up tommorow.

today i also picked up a carpet anemone from kermits. i plan to set up a 29 just for it when i can afford the halides for it. also we bought a female spotted mandarin for our male "boy toy". lauren named them lilo and stitch :) in the first five minutes the male got pretty brutal with the smaller female but now theyre inseperable. they are no more than an inch apart at all times and eating pods like crazy. i have a ton of pods in the display as well as a very nice poulation in the pretty large fuge. just to be safe im going to the store tommorow to buy a strawberry crate and putting the some live rock in it upside down to let the pods populate and to keep the mandarins out. ill stash it behind the rocks out of site. i hope i can sustain both as they are now the showpieces of our tank:) weve always wanted a pair of spotted's and were quite excited today when we found the female. ill try to snap pics tommorow<~~steve
 
heres one of my famous horrible pics again. heres the backsides of both mandarins to show how close they stay to each other. like mirror images. maybe tommorow i can actually get a decent picture of them facing the camera. i already have visions of them getting established and doing the vertical mandarin spiral in my tank. where i come from its called doin the hibbity-dibbity (bad big daddy dialouge qoute) :) maybe im just dreaming, but hey im excited <~~~steve

yea we rode down to brooks road together but he didnt find anything that suited him so we payed dave a visit.<~~steve
 
That's too bad. Brooks Rd. always has something for me...and the price is right too!

P.S. The tank looks great.

its from sweet mandarin love :) no, but seriously it was the orange prawn goby. we moved him and this new tank is crystal clear. thanks for all the comments guys, it means alot as weve had horrible luck lately and this is the only thing at the moment keeping us smiling :( <~~steve

gotcha, i can only imagine youre schedule atm, where are you turning tricks at now? i saw they tore down the admiral benbow inn so i assume the asian shemales are camped out at the gold club now :D. youre friend is loving life on the substrate with a spaghetti strainer over him to keep any expensive "food" that ventures too close out of his mouth. he should be fine until youre schedule opens up. thanks for all the comments guys, its quite touching to get compliments from experienced reefers :) <~~steve
