Hey guys

Been gone a long time haven't I...I sold my setup last year when my wife and I moved and am thinking about getting back into it. I was actually thinking of a biocube but don't know how easy/stable they are in the long run. I see a lot of people that have them and wanted to see who else here has a biocube setup and your suggestions for starting one.

At this point it is just a dream but who knows in the future lol.

I had a Coralife BC29 and it was great. I added the inTank media basket and fuge into chamber 2as well as a small skimmer in chamber 1. I was growing softies, LPS, and NPS without a problem. I also upgraded my lighting to LED to allow for better colors.
I've read that the newest Biocubes are a bit bigger and they've moved away from the power compacts. The LEDs included in the newer ones aren't strong at all though, so you'll still want to look at upgrading.

Thanks for the info! I was actually looking at going used if I went the biocube route. That or its a rimless 45 or something. I would love a 90 which is what I was going to upgrade my 40 from but I'm 95% sure the wife won't allow that lol.
