It's getting to be that time

Hi All,

We're reaching the end of our normal year. We talked last year about extending our elections and club year until after the frag swap. Our legal year end is December 31 but we've been operating on a June 30 year with memberships due on July 1.

We should plan to discuss options and vote at the June meeting.
I'll make a point of having the books caught up so we can figure out if we can afford another frag swap if we wait to renew memberships in the fall as we discussed before. If we're going to do another frag swap in September, someone needs to start that planning yesterday.

As some of you know, I'm in the process of moving. I'll take care of the books and treasurer duties at the least until I have the books caught up to turn over to someone and at the longest until I leave, which right now looks like the end of the summer. B.J. and I will get together on how to manage membership renewals this year, but I think this process should include my treasurer replacement.

Just want you all to start thinking about this.

Cathy, you will most assuredly be missed and are leaving some very big shoes to fill.

It appears that we will have a very full agenda at the upcoming meeting (Which will be at my home on Saturday June 27th, hope everyone that can will try and attend!!
