So after telling myself I wasn't gonna set up another reef for a while I fell into a nuvo 16 and wasn't strong enough to fight off the addiction. So got it home, set it up and started cycleing.

I like how its rimless but didn't like how u can see the skimmer, reactor and filters in the back so I made a case for the tank. (Lights are temporary)

And the back lid is hinged to access it

Made the back part large enough to fit a finnex hob refugium.

More to come on the stand, light etc.

Those are cool but since I'm adding a small hob fug with an led I wanted that to be covered as well.

Interesting idea with the base/canopy. I love it! Did you come up with that on your own? If so, kudos, and we'll be seeing a lot more of those soon.

Got bout 80% of the stand done. Still gotta add led flex strips in the channel surrounding the tank.

Looks great. Have you considered putting some molding on the top back? I think it would be nice touch, but just my opinion. Same molding you used around the perimeter, maybe add a piece to make it sit flush. I love nanos!

Funny u should say that cause I did add that but removed it cause it didn't seem right. Gonna figure something else out for the top and create a medallion of some sort for the center of the door box.
