ok I've been working on a tank for my girlfriend for the last few weeks and finally got in setup this weekend. Most of the tank content is from my qt/frag tank that I decided to take down since I wasn't QTing/Prop in anything in it anyway.

150watt hamilton 10k, bulb no actinic yet. I'll be replacing the bulb with a phoenix bulb.
20gal sump/fug
Aqua C remora skimmer
MJ600 circulation (will be replacing it with a 2-Seio M620)
MJ1200 return (low return rate=less noise)

Most of the ric you see will be moved to my tank after I sell the rest of my blastos. A lot of the corals in the tank also belong to a friend. Once I sell them off for him I'm going to take my girl to the lfs to pick out a clam and a few pieces of soft coral of her choice.

how often do you feed that seahorse? Is it eating only mysis or brine?
nice looking tanks BTW.

seahorse?

no seahourse yet but I'm planning on getting 4 for the sump. A lfs near my house said they can get me captive seahorse that will eat frozen food.

Nice tank. If you cut the tip off of your mj600 you'll get more flow. There is a write up in the diy forum. I did it to my 1200 and major difference.

Thanks, built it myself. I left it open because of heat issues and I kind of like to look at the sump. I also plan on using the fuge area of the sump as a seahorse tank. I left the back clear because I saw someoneââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s tank that had clear back and liked the extra depth it gave the tank.

I plan on adding another mj600 and doing that mod.
