It's still ALIVE!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about the curse. It's stuck in the 626 area.. currently plaguing my tank, sps are dieing off and lps.. :(

+100....Camera, lens, settings?

Hello there fellow Bruinphile!!! Glad to see you around.

I got a new Canon 60D a few months back and I love it. The lenses are still the same. 100mm macro for close up shots, 50mm/1.8 for fish shots, and the standard lense for everything else.

Looks good. Your wild fire monti us beyond crazy

I'll get a colony shot of that up soon. It's huge now and looks bright as ever.

That's the hooded fairy wrasse. Definitely a one of the most beautiful fairies out there.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. We need to do something about this "curse" that's spreading around.

The curse is still alive and kicking..............

The gang is coming around to get ya........

Go Bruins!! You can't get rid of us old farts...:beer:

Really looking forward to the beginning of basketball season. Taking the kids to a pre-season game at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario. Will probably check out a couple of games at the Honda Center too since it's not that far away

Sweet pictures glad to see everything back and beautiful. Jimmy has never been to my house and I have that acro curse too, so it cant be jimmy. :) I have the same problem, but I blame myself and the bad batch of TMP salt I used. All my acros have slowly all turnes to white sticks and I couldnt save any.
I'm gonna upgrade and start fresh and hopefully I can join you guys with those awesome color sticks. What salt are u using and do u dose or use a cal rx?

Sweet come back! I really hope to avoid that kind of wipeout in this tank!
You photography is amazing as well. I hope to someday have colony shots that look that good! Good luck on the
Restocking!

Wow Kenny, sps are looking super healthy! Glad your luck has changed! Love the fish photos too, really honing your photo skills!

Always so impressed with your photography and your inhabitants!- and someone so close to home- I would love to come by and see it in person someday :)

Great stuff Kenny. Really nice acros, and I love the fish. Anthias are beautiful.

Thanks D! During the stick die-off, it was the fish that kept me going. I've always loved fish movement and the colors they bring to the reef. Just wished I still have some of the angels around tho.

Thanks Michael. We are just picking on Jimmy b/c that's what friends do :) I am sure it's not his fault but he's a good sport about it.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles too. As far as salt goes, I've always used a mix since many moons ago. The main portion has always been TM. For the past couple of years, it's been TM/D&D/Ocean Pure at roughly 60/20/20. I don't measure the exact proportions but just guestimate. I have also used many other salts, whenever something becomes available at a cheap price. This has been working for me so that a bad batch of salt won't have as great of an effect, if that makes sense.

I do run a GEO Ca reactor and also a GEO Kalk reactor to keep pH up.

Thanks Terry! It's been a long time coming and finally glad to have turned the corner.

Nice growth there. What is the temp you are keeping the tinker hybrid at?

Thanks. The tank is running at around 77 these days. I was keeping it near 75 for a long time for the bandit but since losing that, I've up the temp a bit to encourage more coral growth. Perhaps when I get another bandit or two back into the tank, I would drop the temp again.

Thanks. You are welcomed to come by. When things calm down a bit, I'll let you know.

Thanks Benny. I'll do that as soon as I can process the rest :)
