It's that time... next new tank

Hey Guys,

Thanks... there's definately more room in this tank than my previous. I did lose a few corals during the move but most everything else is making a good comeback.

Sorry I missed you on Sunday. I was down in LA. I do need to swing by the shop and check it out though. You'll have to come by and see the tank person.

Roland, the fishies have adapted to the extra tank length and swim like they're doing laps in a pool.

As for aquascaping, you do just fine with yours... I like the way your tank looks.

What's the fish list look like so far?

Hector,

My fish list is already pretty high for this tank and I have a tang fetish.

(1) red sea sailfin tang
(1) powder brown tang
(1) purple tang
(1) yellow tang
(1) scopas tang
(1) powder blue tang
(1) hybrid mimic eibili/halfback tang
(1) sunburst anthias
(3) lyretail anthias
(1) lawnmover blenny
(1) yellow watchman goby
(1) choati wrasse
(1) leopard wrasse
(1) ornate leopard wrasse
(1) helfrichi firefish

(2) false percs in the sump

265 gallon tank + 90 gallon sump

Yeah, I really do want to add a nice fairy wrasse like a linneatus or rhomboid... the possum wrasse is cool too. Definately on the fish list.

I watched a possum wrasse hunt in Tubs's tank. Those little buggers move their eyes like chameleons. They actually swim around the structure and pick stuff off.

I guess what I am hinting at is that I believe they will eat monti-branchs.

I have a solar wrasse and I recommend them because they seem to be more people friendly than other fairies. My friend has a rhomboid and a lineatus. They aren't bad looking.

If you are looking at lineatus wrasses, I would look at pink margin wrasses. They look almost identical to lineatus wrasses, execpt they have a red tail. IMO, they are better looking and half the price if not less than a lineatus.

13th post.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates... been kinda busy. Well, I had a chance to shoot some more pics yesterday. Thought I would share. Gotta give major props to Frank at Tropical Reef Oasis for hooking me up with a great tank at a great price. I'm so excited to have so much more room to buy more corals!
