J. Wilkerson book or F. Hoff on raising clowns?

Hoff's hands down no competition.
Personally i think Wilkerson authored a book great for a very hobby level situation, Hoff's is much more aquaculture perspective of clownfish rearing.
I have had Hoff for 10 years almost wilkerson for maybe 4 months, getting wilkersons book yeilded a few tips and great info on how to do it to turn a buck, hoff goes into the nitty gritty.

Hoff's book is quite a bit more in-depth and the plankton culture manual is indespensible as well (great cures for insomina), Wilkerson's book has a fair amount of filler regarding species, distribution and anemones; is an easier read with some pretty handy tips.
I like both but if I could only have one it would be Hoff's.

For beginners I reccomend reading Wilkerson first, followed by Moe's Breeding the Orchid Dottyback . If you are still interested then by all means you will want Hoff's book as well.
Exception, if you are planning to build a system for aquaculture you should read thru Hoff's book before you start, and it wouldn't hurt to peruse Moe's Marine Aquarium Handbook as well.
In short I'd plan to have all four before committing a lot of time and money to the project. OK, five, get the Plankton Culture Manual too.

Do a search on breading clowns going back two years (min) and start reading, best part it's free. and there's alot of tips, tricks, insights, experiments and new tech that's just not covered in any of those books
