Thanks Jack,

Had a broken impeller, disc and all, $109 & out of stock, Jack hooked me up with a new CD disc & a mesh impeller! ALL GOOD.:dance:

The secret is 375 gallons of fish poo that hasn't been skimmed in 6 months. You could blow air into that skimmer with a straw and get skim. lol

I have an older Aqua clear skimmer with a CAP-1800 pump (venturi). CAn this mod be done to improve the output on this skimmer? It puts out a fairly good amount of skimmate goo but it is not very consistant.

The mod only works on needle wheel pumps.

I hope you still have the real impeller on order....the mesh will not last forever but I do have more if it fails before the new impeller arrives.
