Jacky
Hi guys,

I'm an aquarist from China and I applied the RC account in 2008. Since then I have being gaining the experiences of the aces from other aquarists all over the world and hoping I can bring up beautiful corals of my own. The seawater market, in my city, is not fully developed, so that everything has to be bought from the coastal cities. It is very inconvenience. I really admire the aquarists living in the cities with developed sea life market.

My first aquarium, 170Gal, was from Aug 2011. It is already 2 years and 6 months. At the beginning, there were a lot of problems, big and small, but I worked very hard and kept going. Because of lacking of experience in the first 6 month, the SPS barely grew and color stayed unchanged. Then, throughout all aspects of adjustments, changes finally occurred. There was 5 cm sand on the bottom of my aquarium, but I decided to remove it in June 2012 to make it easier to handle. I tried a lot of additives, e.g., the most solutions of ZEO, the PO4 adsorbent, thick sand on the bottom, Alage Sump. So far, most corals in my aquarium were still from very beginning, which I built up from small trees or branches.

Wow! Your aquascape, coral arrangement...what I am trying to say is that this is truly inspirational. Could you please explain more of your lessons learned - how you overcame major problems, etc? Also, are you still dosing Zeo?
