Thanks for all the great service Ive had on my orders to P.A. Recently, I purchased a couple 150w Eheim Jager heaters. They are advertised on PA as being completely waterproof. However, on the actual heater there is a min/max water line, which the instructions say to stay within. Are these heaters submersible or not? Thanks Eric

They are completely submersible. I think the water line has something to do with the UL listing. I asked the same question since my old Ebo Jagers have no line.

smatter is right on the money! The only way they could get UL approval was with that line and wordage on there. You will be just fine putting them down in your sump completely submersed.
