I have just read the terrible news that our friend Jake Adams has passed away.
He was an ambassador for the reefing community, a true expert with everything aquatic, and for myself and many others the best reefing YouTuber on the platform.
I enjoyed his perspective on all things saltwater. We were similar in age, longevity in the hobby, and he was an old school reefer just like me. I will miss his videos and his enthusiasm. Rest easy buddy.

I feel exactly the same - I’m also a similar age, and perhaps would be considered old school too. I remember Jakes channel when his was posting Steve Hurlocks (another legend gone) amazing 1200g reef. I must have watched those early videos hundreds of times. Jake did something very difficult, he made a career out of something he loved and left a stamp on this hobby that will never fade. A very sad day indeed.

It's a legitimate go fund me. Him and his wife were expecting a child. So freaking sad.
