Jan 22nd Frag Auction

OK to my already stated list, I am addding a few more items. Starting bids are $5.00 each.

BTW, the green finger leathers have been mounted to rocks.

(1) Tiny, 1" tall cabbage coral. This is seen in the other set of pics on the right side of the tank above and to the right of the white sinularia.

(2) small frags of Fluorescent Green Star Polyps. This color is harder to find and very desirable.

(1) 1.5" Rock with 3-4 poyps of Lemon center Zoos on one end and 6-10 polyps of Green Star center zoos. These are vibrant and the Lemon zoos are harder to find.

LOCATION: The two parent colonies are on the right.

(1) rock chip with 6-10 polyps of Golden Center Zoos, these yellow zoos have a green and blue ring.

LOCATION: This parent colony is the one on the left.

ok I have quite a few to post here so bear with me. They are small and will be priced that way in most cases. Tomorrow I hope to shoot the colonies as I couldn't get the zoos to open for me when I needed them open.
These frags all came from the same colony/rock. the rock has mostly green rim with orange centers, but not dragon eyes. They are very nice however and are on rock. Starting bid will be 1.00 on all.

This piece is kind of standard from the zoo standpoint, but on the end is a nice purple/green mushroom. These mushrooms have been doing great for me and spreading like wildfire. starting bid 1.00

nice striped mushroom. Another fast grower/multiplier. starting bid 1.00

These guys get huge! Really nice mushroom. These grow to about the size of elephant ears but show much better colors as you can see. Starting bid 2.00

This is a really bad pic of a nice mushroom. they grow whereever you place them and multiply with a great green color.

This is a small frag from a really nice finger leather I have growing. It is unmounted unfortunately. When colored up the leather is kind-of yellowish orange with green polyps. very nice, will try to post pic of whole colony tomorrow.

This is probably the most unusual frag I have this time. It is a variety of Favia. Hector labels them as alien eyes. Eyes are extreme red in color with neon green channeling. (pic of colony in this thread.) I paid close to 300 for the colony. Starting bid for this will be 10.00

I think that will be all that I am bringing unless my wife gets cleanup happy and sees pieces floating around that she wants to sell off. And I thought this was my tank! See Ya Sunday.

Awesome!! Looks like this is going to be a great auction!! Thanks everyone for posting your items. I will be putting a few more things up later today. One more note, this may seem like common sence but here it goes anyway. Make sure all items are packed individually so it can go home with its new owner.

Just wanted to give people an idea of what the parent colonies looked like for some of the items I posted. Pardon the quality of the pics as I kinda stink as a photographer! I sharpened the pics in photoshop and may have chanjavascript:smilie(':)')ged the brightness to try and get a little better look. Hopefully it does not make them look like they are for sale on Ebay!
This is the parent of the leather frag that I posted. You can get a little idea of the color and polyps.

This it the parent colony of the zoos that were clustered in one pic. As you can see there are multiple colors on the same branch of coral. Can't really tell for sure which one is gonna be which color, so beware when bidding. I do know that they are spreading in my tank.

1.00 xenia frag. 1 and a half inch frag. i dont know y its on its side.

Hey, I am buying my dream tank today. It is a 110 gallon tall. I was hoping two or three people could help me load and unload it today after the auction. It will be a quick no-hassel trip to the store (SW Saltwater) and my home which are both near UofA. Please let me know hear or at the meeting.

If anyone needs a phosban type setup I am bringing it with me. It is a life reef unit with a dual pvc manifold and two chambers that could each be valved off. I was going to use it to contain carbon in one chamber and Phosban in the other but it would be your choice. Will let it go cheap!

Well it finally happened, Tucson is on the map, great turnout. Thanks Ed for taking charge and Hector for the use of your store and refreshments. Hope all had a good time and got what they wanted.

My wife was quite pleased with what I brought home. What a relief! LOL The digitata frag already had polyps out in under an hour. Quite awesome!
