Janss Pipefish

Hey guys, I'm new to the Pipefish. Just added on to my tank. I went with the Janss Pipefish. I've done a little bit or research on them and think they are amazing animals. Anyone in here got one? Just wondering if you could post some pics of your and also give some insite if you have any secrets to keeping them looking good and happy. Thanks....

We have 3 at work in a refugium and I really wanted to pick them up for my 25 gallon. I read that they normally feed on mysis, is this true? It seems like they are too tiny to eat mysis peices. Let me know, if you can, where you found the information because I would like to do mor reasearch on these guys.

I've got three at work and they eat PE mysis like crazy. Two of them are a mating pair too but I can't tell which ones yet. I have mine in with erectus seahorses.

Jordan55 - I've got a real good relationship with the LFS owner. He has always carried them at his Fish Store, and also hase two of them in his own tank at his house. He said they eat cyclopeez and that's what i'm going to try to feed mine with. Also, i have mine in whith two small ocellaris clowns 1/2 inch, and a small banggii cardinal 1" in size. All the fish in my tank get along and are very calm and pieceful. The clowns usually hang out on the left side of the tank and the cardinal on the right. As soon as i put the Janss in the tank he went straight for the middle and is seeming to do good.

I have two banded pipe fish & they won't eat mysis or cyclopeez. They do on the other hand eat my pods like crazy.
