January 2010 nTOTM - jols' dual nano tank

Thanks for the remarks, people.
I'd welcome criticisms and suggestions as well :bounce2:

looks awesome man, I like to dendros to. How many heads of them did you start with in the upper pic? just asking cause I have a single head going on like 6 months or so seems happy but what kind of growth rate do they have? everybody else is growing in my tank. again your tank is awesome!

I am not entirely sure how many heads I started with. Although I did notice quite a number of babies (around 5) on my first supersun - and they're usually clumped together. What I do notice, is how fast the polyps grow. Seems the babies doubled in size after a month.

love this nano how did you get the supersun corals to look soooo good

I really have no idea. IME, supersuns are much easier to take care of than regular sun corals. Easier to feed since these guys are very greedy and have huge polyps. After feeding them with slices of shrimp, they open up the rest of the day unless disturbed by any of my shrimps.

nice tank! nice coral collection too! i have some space in my tank for you fast growing corals..:D

where did you put the acan echinata? mine has not grown much.. i really like that pipefish, too bad mine didn't make it.. pics of your equip please..

Sandbed. Haha. Grows quite fast!

Very nice tank, congrats

If you could, please start a new voting thread for Feb '09. Thanks!

Thank you. Will do.

Beautiful and congrats! Great to see such a nice tank from the PI.

Very nice selection of live stock. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for your next tank.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
This month is about to end, so I just want to show a few more pictures before my sticky time is up. Haha.
