New reefer

New reefer

I'm new at this but I always thought I could not allow corals to touch. Is there any problem with them being so close. Are they actually touching? Yours look beautiful and would like to add more to my tank

This is a beautiful tank! Mine does not look anything like this but I wish it did. As a beginner, would you mind going into a little more detail about having no sand and a settling tank?? The pictures make it look like there is sand, what am I seeing there?? I find that my sand is always collecting nasty stuff and I am vacuuming it constantly. I am very interested to learn more about the system you use.

Hi Laura thank you
What you are looking at is a cutting board
I got my one piece board from http://www.cuttingboardcompany.com/

As far as settling tank see post #28 #40

how do you maintain your no3 and po4 with this heavy feeding just 40 gal water change is enough. i too have lps and softy in my tank but when i started to feed frozen my no3/po4 was sky rocket.
