Japanese cultured Zoos

Just thought I'd post this link for all you chaps.

This is from a company that specialises in captive prop of all different kinds of corals here in Japan. It is in Okinawa, to the south of the country.

If you click on the pictures you can enlarge them and then enlarge again by clicking the red tab on the picture.

I'm about to get out of the hobby for a while (not enough time to devote to it these days so am going to give it a break until the Children have flown the nest). Hope you enjoy.

I've seen this site before. I was trying to get something imported and failed :(

Possibly due to customs issues? I do not think it would be a straight 24 hour delivery time. It would arrive in the states, then get checked by agriculture or something then it'd get to you. Not sure exactly all the steps required, but yea, would be most difficult. As another hobbyist put it to me, "transit will be hard on the coral due to the covert nature of it's transport..

From a person lucky enough to live in Okinawa, the website is nothing, you should see what they have in the shop! What you see online is only a small fraction of what they have. The prices are also much cheaper than you see in the states. I go by the shop at least a few times a month. I don't know what I'll do if I ever leave.

Neat site, I wonder if anyone local has any Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢EÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢~Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢LÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢mÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢RÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢tÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢"šÂ¬Ã‚°Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢??[Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢tÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢"šÂ¬Ã‚¹Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢OÃ" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢Ãƒ"¦Ã‚ ?[Ã" Ã¢â‚¬â„¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢"šÂ¬Ã…"œ? They have a pretty big variety of hermits even. I wonder if they take Paypal  ;) :p :D
