Japanese Deepwater Zoanthids

Where do these Zoanthids come from, and what type of care is required to house these beautiful zoanthids? I have read on several posts that they require colder temps around 70-76 and thereafter they start to melt.

I have access to require quite a few pieces and was wondering if someone could shed some light on these.

Thank you for your time,
Hailey

From my time dealing with these, they are very prone to pox and melting. But once you get passed that they'll be ok and start to color up. I place mine slightly shaded to get the colors to pop back up. Too much light and the colors fade a bit for ME>

Those are indeed very nice. I have yet to get any since no one locally has em and I am not sure I wanna pay shipping for something that I am not sure will do well. Keep us updated on how they do for you.

All- thanks for your response. Just brought them home last night and was told by the supplier that I should put them in low light and high flow.
Dipped in 40 drops to 1 gallon of saltwater of Warner Marine Research ReefPure Lugols PLUS Iodine, about 1 hour later they started opening up. I'll be keeping an eye on them and will let you know in weeks to come how they are doing.
Currently sitting slightly to the left of 4 48" t5's with a good amount of flow.

Here is another batch that were purchased.

I had about several or so different morphs prior to the deep water craze fully hit. out of those only 1 morph made it through and now has babies growing.
