I was on the look out for a nice tyree when I went to my LFS a few days ago but they had none. What I did find was a little blob of highlighter green shaded out & overhung by other leathers. It had been forgotten, wedged in near the bottom of the tank & almost hidden under a rock. Sweet little babe was sad to see really shrived up & had no polyp extension. Girl said she had put it in the tank a few months back & lost track of it :(. I bought it for $8 & took it home. Cute little thing started opening up after about an hour in the tank & seems quite happy. The closest thing I can find to it is the "japanese" green toadstool. But not a perfect match. :sad2:The "japanese" toadsools I have seen are usually green with short little white polyps or green ones. This thing is lime green under my regular daylight leds & glows flourecent mint/highlighter green under my blues but the polpys are medium in length & are brown/tanish in color with tiny white tips. Anyone seen any similar ones?
My camera HATES my leds this thing is way more green in person. Look how washed out my green zoas look to the left...
