Jar*head - New tank with external Nano wavebox

Jar*head and others -

I am planning to replace my tank with a new rimless by AGE. The tank is 30x24x24 with an external overflow.

I was planning to buy an tunze nano wavebox, but thought maybe I could put an external nano wavebox the back of the tank next to the external overflow. The wavebox will be pointing from front to back (24" dimension).

The other flow will be from two 6105s with 6205 grills.

Any problems with this idea? should I put the box near the center of the back wall or in the corner?

AGE guys have not yet made an external nano box, but I dont see why it wouldnt work.

Thanks for the help.

Rishma, it can be done and you do not need to buy the tunze nano wavebox because you only need the pump, 6091 wave controller and it will work just like the nano wavebox. You will need to provide the tunze nano 6055 pump to AGE so they can make the proper size box with the right size hole. The ext box will be at one of the rear corner flow toward the front panel.

I know AGE has done a few tank with external wavebox. they are one of the best company to have your special project done and get it done right. As for directional flow 2x6105 with 6205 nozzle is perfect because you don't need the long reach but i want a wider flow pattern. If you need any help dialing the wavebox, feel free to drop me a PM

Thanks
Steve
