Ive had this tank for a few months now and alls going well . The contents of this tank came from my existing 65g and past tanks . A few of the corals and inverts are 3-4 years in my care . The vhlamingii Ive had for 2+ years .
The tank and stand are AGA . The old sytle corner overflows . The sump is a 15g sterilite contain that Im going to replace with a 20g tank . The sump is driller for a sequence cimmaron return pump and auto top off valve . The pump is controller by a variable speed switch . Since the 1" drains dont alow me to operate the pump at more that 1/4 of its max output I plan to install penductors to increase my circulation . Right now I have a mag 18 closed loop and a sedra 12000 to make up for the slack water movment the returns make . The tank is heated by a 500w titanium heater controlled by a medusa controller . Dissolved organics are wisked away via a life reef skimmer ( that I just recently broke and need to get repaired now ) run by a mag 9.5 . Im going to replumb my return lines to accomadate the skimmer and a phos reator in the future . In the canopy is 3 250 w MH's and VHO's powered my ice cap ballasts . Ice cap fans and spider reflectors . The canopy is also going to be replaced with a smalled more attractive one .
