Jaw Breaker having babies.

I was wondering if when jaw breaker are having babies are they darker in color.
I have two of my mushrooms having babies but they are much darker then then there mothers. Is this normal. Thanks for the input. JOE

I've seen both in my colony. Some are darker. I has some there were almost bleached orange. The bleach orange ones took a while before they turned orange.

I think a lot of times the babies appear underneath the "mother" so they don't get light, which causes beaching/lightening. Once exposed they start to darken up.
