JBJ 12G DX Custom Top

I will be getting my 12G DX here in two days with a JBJ 75W Clamp on MH. I will be removing the hood that is on there and was wondering what would be the best way to keep the top covered? I was thinking of eggcrate. Any advice would greatly be appreciated

Are you planning on running some type of auto top off system? I have seen eggcrate before...not the most pleasing on the eyes. I think if you did a glass piece it would get to hot unless you have a chiller.

I have a chiller on its' way and will be creating a top off system I think.

If you want a clean look I would just get a piece of plexi glass or glass and have it cut to the shape of the top. Maybe glue a knob on it or something so you can lift it off easily.

call a local glass shop. Here in Miami you can get it done for about 30 bucks sometimes more or less depending on where you go.
