Jbj 28 gallon 5 months old tank take down

Just about 5 months ago i purchased a jbj 28 galon 105 watt power compact and stand. Was trying to add a sump box to it and drilled a whole on the back top left if your looking at tank and and right if behind. Did not like the way it was draining. It was very slow. Probably a simple fix but they had a great sale at my local lfs on a used 40 gal long oceanic hex tank that i couldnt pass up so i am now in the process of staining and setting up. So in a few weeks i will have the jbj for sale. If anyone interested let me know. Would like to get some money back out of it. I would probably take coral trades also. I live in west des moines. I would also trade for a good protein skimmer to work on a 40 gallon hex tank and sump.

Anyone? I will sell tank for 150.00 obo. Or trade for some hard to find zoas/palys or number one a decent protein skimmer and tanks yours. I would probably even deliver it too if that helps.

I'm sure both Adam's and the other store on 86th have them around. Mine was in use up until two years ago. Is cleaned up but still has some calcium buildup on inside of main box, but works fine.

Not to sure if the bakpak is really what im looking for. I want a skimmer that will sit in my sump box. All the others that ive gotten for the nano that hang of the back dont skim that well. But those were airstones. Im just not sure on how well it would work. I will still send a pic of the tank though

Could I see a pic of the tank. Does the hole affect the tank, will it work properly without a sump or will it leak? I would buy it and let you pick out your own skimmer

I think it would be fine the water level in the rear chamber would half to stay lower but the whole was drilled high. But their is a bulk head going threw the whole and you could just get a cap and cap it off and it would be fine. I dont have away to post pictures online. Grew up with out the internet and only use it at work. Where i am at right now but i wil pm you with my number and if you send me a text i can send you the pictures i have on my phone.
