JBJ 28NC HQI, LED, and Quad PC differences question

Hey everyone,

I have decided to go with a JBJ nano. I have one question about the differences between the HQI, LED, and QUAD PC. Are all 3 of these kits the exact same with the exception of the lighting? In theory would you be able to buy one and interchage the lighting fixture lid? I see many products saying they are made specifically for X model or Y model. Is the back of the tank set up the same for all 3? I really want to get the LEDs but they have a great deal of stand, chiller,and live rock with the Quad PC. And was wondering if it would be financially more smart to just but the Quad PC and replace it with the LED lid(if even possible), or buy the LED and then purchase stand/chiller.

Yes it's the same tank with different lids. According to JBJ each lid is different only because of the placement of the components. So you couldn't take a PC Quad lid and try to later retro fit a stock JBJ LED setup. You would have to buy a complete lid.
