Hi, just a quick ? anyone have seen or have a refugium hung on a JBJ 30RL tank?

Yea I know you can buy an awesome fuge at fins n friends. Others may have it too but I know I seen it at that location. I have one and absolutely love it. It could be used as a breeder fish separator, (that's what its made for) but it comes with three chambers, and a small pump that also works good. Although you may need to buy a small light to clamp or hang on. I used the compact light that came from a 3g picotope and its perfect.

Ok great, thanks and another question. Do you know if the tank is able to be drilled ? Seen posts some people drilled it but jbj says it's all tempered

Here's a small recommendation to cut down on the amount of light overflow on the sides. Get a piece of black egg crate just bigger than the area that the LEDs shine through. Glue it in place with a couple dabs of silicone on the corners and edges ( on the inside). This will focus the light down and cut down the light that shoots out diagonally. It doesn't take away from the appearance if done cleanly.
