JBJ 45RL Setups

Hello All,

I am currently in the process of setting up a new JBJ 45RL tank. I wanted to hear success/failure stories about this particular tank and also make a place for people to post about their current builds/plans for this tank.

As of October 3rd, 2014 my tank is ready for water. The aquascaping is complete and all necessary equipment is purchased and ready for install.

Current Major Equipment,

JBJ 45RL with stand
40lbs BRS Pukani Dry Rock
40lbs CaribSea Ocean Direct Original Sand
JBJ Ocean Stream Powerheads (nano version)
JBJ SK-45 Skimmer
JBJ Nano Refugium LED Light
Cobalt 200 Watt Neo-Therm Heater (when it finally comes back in stock!)

is the back of the tank black acrylic or is is painted glass? im wondering how you are using the refugium light from jbj as its not waterproof. im asking because i plan on getting the 45 rimless but want to know how you setup a refugium light?
