JBJ ATO Not working

So I setup my new tank yesterday and installed the ATO today and it powers up but the light for the "pump" won't come on. I unplugged it and plugged back in and the light and pump came on for around 5 seconds then went dead again. I tried that a few times but keep getting the same results. Has this happened to anyone else?? It's out of warranty and if I get another ATO it'll be the Tunze. Too many problems with this unit. I also tried calling JBJ but got shoved into a general voice mail box.

Try the other float switch. I've had that problem before due to a faulty float switch wire.

what mode is it on, a or b? i run the front sensor plug on mode b, works mint
