So I use a JBJ ATO system with an aqua lifter pump. I am also a huge fan of redundancy. Sure enough last week my aqualifter clogged up and I didn't notice it for a day or two. My question is this. Can I hook up 2 pumps to a single ATO unit? I'm thinking one aqualifter and one small submerged pump. Has anyone does this before? Can anyone think of a disadvantage to doing this? Thanks.
