Can anyone help with the problem of controlling the lights and the fans on the JBJ Nano Cube? I want to use a lighting controller to switch the T5's on and off and when they are OFF to have the LED's ON. I would lso like to switch the fans OFF for a couple of hours in the evening when they become a bit intrusive.
Can anyone help please?
Regards
Frank

There is something called a moonlight fix on www.nanotuners.com.
It's a do it yourself kit that allows you to rewire the hood to control the moonlights from the LED's.

As for the fans I have not heard of anyone being able to do that but if you find someone I'm sure it could be rewired.....

You can re-wire the fans such that you by-pass the voltage transformer in the remote ballast and use your own AC adapters. I have mine on variable-voltage AC adapters so that I can vary the fan speed (and the fan noise). Nanotuners sells a 2 Pin Fan Adapter and also a 3 Pin Y Adapter (each about $5) and you can also replace your fans with quieter ones from SilenX 60x25mm Fan - 16db for $17 apiece.
