JBJ Nano Wavemaker Mod

Hello,

I'm looking for anyone that has made a wavemaking mod on their JBJ nano cube using the Switching Current Water Director or(SCWD) for short. If you have made this mod or have any insight on making one please share your info on this thread.

I'm looking for ideas or instructions, either will do right now. I need instruction on plumbing to buy + any other tools I will need to make this mod happen.

I will employ my 3rd grade drawing skills to give you an idea of what I am thinking about.

Not exactly what you asked, but I control 2 pumps with my Aquacontroller Jr. Makes it super easy to set up whatever parameters you can dream up, nearly limitless. No visual impact, pumps behind back wall. My set up is simple ...both pumps on for 10 mins, then pump 1 on/pump 2 off for 5 mins, then pump 2 on/pump 1 off for 5 mins, at night....just pump 1 on.

Seems that it would be difficult to plumb a SCWD in the nanocube. The hood would really get messed up with the plumbing and if you kept it below the hood, it would block too much light. The other way is drill and use an external pump, however.....NO WAY I would ever consider drilling the back glass on a JBJ Cube.

A aquacontroller is the way too go, not cheap but the best alternative I know of.
