Hi I recently bought a Jebao DC-6000 (because I heard they were really quiete). But I'm having a problem, is making noise.:headwalls: Is making more noise than the Mag12 that I have before it. Bellow you will find some YouTube links for you to watch. If someone know what can I do with this problem please let me know thanks.:strange:

Thank you

sounds like something is grinding in the impeller housing. Take the front portion apart and see if anything got in there. A small piece of rubble or sand will cause it to grind and make noise.

I already checked inside and there is nothing in there:(. I just notice that when I increase the speed it has more noise. :headwally: if you guys have another idea please let me know. Thank you so much.

its hard to tell from the vid, but do you have something in between the pump and glass? it could just be the sump amplifying the vibrations from the motor

My experience with my DC9000 is that at 100% it is much louder that anything 80% or lower. Mine at 100% is not as loud as yours but my recommendation to everyone is to get one size larger than you need. I need to run a pump that pushes approximately 1300 GPH. I could have gone with the DC6000 but would need to run it at 100% with head loss. So I went with the DC9000 and now run it at 70% and it's dead silent. I also added a gate valve at the return just in case it was too powerful. Now I have flexibility to add more things and still be able t push more water with the same pump.
