Jebao Dosing pump thread.

How is it? Is it the Jecod labeled one? I just set mine up and calibrated it. Tested 20 ml dose and it dosed it exactly at 20 ml.

Going to dose once every hour, 12 ml each.

I finally got around to getting it out of the box and playing with it. I also got mine from Amazon and it is labeled Jecod. Per everyone else I went ahead and flipped the internal spools in the heads. It makes them significantly smoother and quieter. Only issue I have had so far is that a couple heads where not pumping. After looking closer the hose was pinched and stuck/sticking together most likely from sitting pinched for so long. I just worked out the pinch and all is working well so far.

I have calibrated two of the heads several times and seem to get consistent results. It is dosing just slightly more than selected. For instance I have it set to dose 10ml every minute 4 times. Instead of coming out with 40ml in the cup I get 45ml after the 4th dose. Both heads are doing the same thing. It could be inconsistencies in the cheap plastic BRS measuring cup I am using but I don't think I am going to worry too much about it.

Just wanted to post my experience so far as I read through this entire thread while mine was being shipped.

So far so good, I think I have V1, but calibrated it and everything is fine so far a couple days in. I did have to reverse the rollers as many have had to do (unsure why so many get installed backwards as the pump wouldn't function prior to reversal). But all in all I am happy with the pump, and for the price who could complain! I would recommend.

What makes you think you have V1. What are the factors that tell us it is V1 or V2. I would like to know what version I have just bought as it was sold to me as V2.

I do not know the factors for sure but I have gathered from other posts in this thread that if the name on the box is "Jebao" it is likely V1 and "Jecod" is likely V2. Like I said not 100% just assuming.

my output lines are getting air in them. All connections seem tight. Should I install a check valve on the output or is there something wrong with my motors? I haven't tried to pull them apart to check placement.

I do have air too but you should check
The amount dosed
The air in my system is always constant, it can affect the amount dosed

I'm sure I got V 1. I have had it about 2 yrs. I only use 2 heads, But its worked flawless. Only thing I have been doing is increasing the amount of cal/ alk do to coral growth.

why do they sell different size tubing for the inlet and outlet? Does it make a difference? I thought they were the same size

I can't get mine to work

I can't get mine to work

I have set pump one and pump two to 24 times a day, 10 ml, 1 hour just to try to get them to come in and I can't get them to work. Someone mentioned manual mode but I don't see anywhere to turn manual on. Is there something else I need to do to get this thing to work? I assume there is no customer service number.

Well started replacing pump heads... So far the real response from the new heads is allot better, smoother drip, no back syphon, and change color too boot.

What heads did you replace them with and where did you get them? I'm having trouble with the factory heads losing their prime like a lot of others in this thread. I contacted the seller I bought it from, and they're sending me some replacement heads, but I'm not hopeful.
