Jebao Dosing pump thread.

What heads did you replace them with and where did you get them? I'm having trouble with the factory heads losing their prime like a lot of others in this thread. I contacted the seller I bought it from, and they're sending me some replacement heads, but I'm not hopeful.
Amazon... They're about 12 each. Work great

Jecod/Jeabo Dosing Punp JUNK!

Jecod/Jeabo Dosing Punp JUNK!

I bought a 2 head pump in last month and found out that it stopped dosing after initial setup. I was watching for it to come on at the programed time, that came and went and no dosing on either pump. only way it would work was powering it down and up again, but then only worked once. The next day (its programed for once a day) as before the programed times came and went with no dosing, so I returned it and got a 3 head model from another vendor. This one started out fine but as before, no dosing at the programed time unless I cycled the power. Am I doing something wrong?? This thing ain't rocket science. Any body else seen this issue. As it stands now I say these pumps are pure JUNK! Looks like another return. Will probably have to spend the BIG BUCKS for a Bubble Magnus unless anybody knows of a cheaper solution.

Thanks for listening

When programming it, make sure you set the doser to daily (which daily is 0)
And not to the amount of days it will skip( 1, 2, 3, etc.)

had mine running just under a year fine. I learned the hardway though that even if you have a doser running and think all is well you still need to keep up with dosing. I kinda stopped testing ALK and at the same time wife and I had a baby so I slacked in general. Think I programmed the ALK to dose to much and overdosed. I checked the doser though and it was dosing what I programmed it to do so it was an issue on my part, not the doser.

As Manny suggested. It sounds like you have the dosing intervals set at 1, which means every other day. Setting it a 0 means skipping 0 days and your doser should dose daily.

No, as per the manual, 0=No dosing, 1=dose every day, 2=every second day etc...

Is the manual WRONG??

Intervals is what you should be looking at.

This EXACTLY what the user manual says,
Interval Day: you can choose 0-30 days as an interval time, 0 means no dosing. 1 means every day, 2 every 2nd day etc

Manny,
Don' mean to argue but again My user manual states 0=NO DOSING, 1= Dose every Day. BUT to late now cuz i sent both back for a refund.

Does anyone know the size of the tubing that comes with the dosing heads? I'm thinking I have pinholes in them because after I prime and remove the bubbles, a day later they start to form again in the output tubing. I replaced them with silicone airline tubing I had, but it was too tight and the rollers could barely rotate.

Silicone Tubing

Silicone Tubing

You cant use regular silicone tubing, its to big, you need to order new heads for your unit. I saw some on E-Bay

Those heads don't look like the stock ones, did you change the heads? I went ahead and ordered the tubing, hopefully that will stop the bubbles. It's frustrating having to prime and remove the bubbles from the tubing every 2 days. If this doesn't work I'll look into changing the heads.

Yea, i replaced pumps alltogether. Quieter, little faster and overall better service.
For the airbubbles, where are they accumulating? Near the heads? Or near the output? There's a thread about the heads being installed backwards from factory. I did fix my originals and it solve the back siphon issue i had.
