Jebao wave maker water pump thingy help

So I've got the locked mode on currently and I'm not sure how to turn it off. I've tried holding down the button for 5-10 seconds like the manual says, and the same with all the other buttons, but it's not seeming to turn off. Unplugging it doesn't do anything either. Am I doing something wrong?

It might help if you stated which "thing-a-ma-bob" you are referring too just in case there are operational differences...

One manual (PP powerheads) states to "long press the lock button".. It does not define "long press".. So I would hold it for longer (maybe 15 seconds.. maybe 30.. keep trying up to a minute or more)..

You may try unplugging the power for an hour. The electronics still hold a charge in the control module.

make sure you are not in Master Or Slave mode (same button) then hold for 3 seconds.
