Jebao wavemakers

Yup. Tis correct they sync with a slave and a master. Only a few bucks more than two WP-25s for a smaller footprint and more flow in terms of GPH. They also apparently improved the controlability.

I just added 2 more wp25's to my tank. That's a total of 4 of them and I left mp10 on there also. It looks like a hurricane going through the tank when they all go full blast.

i just ordered a 32x24x20 66 Gal.. I have already sunk a lot of money into it with the sump, radion, skimmer and so on..

Will (2) WP25's be enough flow for a LPS/SPS tank?

While the RW-8 is neat and all, i cant justify spending the extra hundred bucks on the pair unless i am missing something on it is honestly worth it?

2 WP25s with a dual controller is the same price almost as two RW8s. The big thing with the RW8s is increased flow and a smaller footprint.

Alright i will probably go the RW route..

However for my 66gal 34x24x20 rimless - mixed coral tank, with sand.. It seems i may just want (2) RW-4's.. Can Anyone confirm ? Although Ebay has the RW-8's for 78$ a piece so maybe i will just order two of them... Then they would connect correct? Nothing else is needed?

Topping an old thread but I figure it's better than starting a new one.

I am considering replacing my two MP40's (wet side issues) with two new Jebao's but the question is whether I should go with two RW-20's or two RW-15's? I have a 180g 72x24x25.

Anyone using them on a similar sized tank?

Thanks!

You can always turn the bigger ones down, you can't make the smaller ones go up any more than 100% so if its not enough your fubar. IMO just get the bigger ones.

That was my thought as well but I was under the impression that the variable speed modes will always hit 100% so with two RW20's I might have water on the floor let alone a sand storm. lol

I bought two RW20's for my 180 gallon build using this same logic. I should find out in another few months whether it was a good idea. I suspect that they are going to be ridiculously overpowered for a 6 foot tank but should work on the lower settings.

Is that only one in there? Holy moley that's a decent amount of flow for just one power head!

Do you happen to know if I can run two 20's and dial them down in "else mode"? I prefer to have randomized flow and opposed to steady stream directional.
