Jebao WP25 Information

I asked the same question on the WP60 thread, regarding the pump cable length. My tank is 8' long so I hope they put a few more feet on the 60's.---Rick

I have a WP25 running since 8/3/13, so almost 8 months, it was cleaned in January as part of normal maintenance. It is normally dead silent, last week I started to hear a hum from it, didn't notice any loss in flow. A few hours in vinegar and water cured the hum, it's back to silent...... :)

Im looking for an opinion on flow for my new 45 cube. I am running a wp10 on my 28g cube right now and its great, but going to the 45 I am considering bumping up to a wp25 or just adding another wp10. Would one wp10 be enough for a 24x24x18 cube?

I never had or have seen the WP10, but I always like 2 pumps over 1, it gives you flexibility in placement.

I would go with 2 WP-10's on that tank.

Does anyone know if a WP10 can be controlled with the standard version controller of the WP40?

They are now selling the pumps without controller and power supply for $20 less.

I should be able to. I think the controllers are the same on all of them.

I know the controller for the 40 can control the 25 and visa-versa.

My WP25 and WP10 both have been fantastic so far. Silent and powerful. I actually just finished the wiring to run them from my Apex today. Now they run different intensity and pulse for day, dusk/dawn, night, and feed. I love these things.

If I want tons of flow, tall 4 ft tank, dimension in sig, would 2 40's be adequate? Looking for a cleaner setup to what I have, too many wires!

Currently using 6 1400 hydor evolutions to get strong flow everywhere, but always on... Not really liking it.

Yeah. The WP40 has been out for a little more than a year.
The WP25 has been out since about June, if I remember correctly.

Did you use the reef angel cable for it?
