Jebao WP25 Information

Does anyone know if I can use the controller from a WP-25 on a WP-10? I bought a dual controller/WP-10 combo, thinking it also came with individual controllers. It doesn't. I have the 25 and one of the 10s on the dual controller in my 65 mixed reef. I have a now unused WP-25 controller and a WP-10 without a controller. I'm setting up a 20L frag tank and want to put the 10 in it. Hoping the controller from the 25 will work. Will it?

Thanks!
Brian

The controller works with any combination of pumps, it's the power supply that matters.
I just swapped out my 25's for 10's and kept my power supply and controller.

Any idea where to get the right power supply for the WP-10? And, would the led dimmer switch help at all?
Thanks again!
Brian

The power supply they sent with my wp25 package is 4a, so that covers the wp10 and wp25 package. The bigger pumps get a 5a or 6a power supply.

I have a standard 55 gallon aquarium, 4 feet long. Im wondering if I can use two wp25s or if I should use one 25 and one 10. I already have one 25. I just dont want to create a sand storm in my aquarium lol. Any input would be appreciated.

2 25's should be fine.

I have a 40 and 25 in my 55, but they are running from 30-70% depending on what program my Reef Angel is running at the time.

Try it out with the single wp25 and see how it does, it might surprise you and be all set by itself.

I already have a single 25 and its got a decent amount of flow on the left side but I have a hydor 1050 on the right side and want to replace that with another jebao. I feel the tank needs more flow than what the 1050 produces on the right side of my aquarium. Im just not sure if another 25 will be too much flow so im not sure about adding the 25 or getting a wp10.

25. I have two in my 75 and they work great. You can always keep them dialed down. I must admit both of them on else mode is too much. I use either w1 or w2.

Looking for some advice I have a 36 Gal that is 30.3" x 15.5" x 20.9" I am looking at either the wp 10 or the wp 25 and am not sure which would fit this footprint. It will be a mixed reef so I am leaning towards the wp 10 as i'm worried the 25 may be a bit too powerful. All that is in there now is the return line.

^^

Yup, what he said.

I had 2 -wp25's in my 54 bowfront and it was way too much. I swapped them out for 2 - wp10's and it's much better.

WP25's do up to 2000gph
WP10's do up to 1000gph

so after runningthe wp25 for about 3 weeks i notice a drop in flow.
unhook it and notice hardly anything clogging it. pulled out empellor wiped it off regardless. flow now back to normal. no idea really what made it slow down.
still making the whinning noise i can hear across the house.. ***.

Yes. You have to clean the impeller and housing often. The slightest build up will decrease the flow...
Mine doesn't make any noise...
