Jebao WP25 Information

I will admit I was under the impression FS was the one who said they would be $30, but now I see that was from Jebao. Either way, I don't expect the WP25 to be $100 and even if it was around $75 it would be easier for people to use on smaller tanks without modding the pump, which is why everyone is waiting for these. I guess we'll see.
 
Out of curiosity, I keep emailing FS to see how much they are going to charge for a wp25, and I keep getting a response saying I can pre-order now. When I ask the price a second time, I get "9n the website price"... Whatever that means. Seems like a typo on an auto reply.
 
Finally got an answer. :drum roll: One Jebao WP25 will be $95 from Fish-street. $90 if you pre order. They did not say if that includes shipping, but I would assume so. Considering it cost $100 for 1 wp40 to get to your door from them, my assumption of wp40-$5 was correct. Looks like I may have to sleep on the couch, because I'm going through with my order directly from Jebao.
 
Well IF they are $90 or $95 I'm out. Is FS the only store selling them besides Jebao directly? I'd be in for a GB directly from Jebao if they are in the $30 to $50 range. With all the people waiting for these I would think a 50 pump minimum would be easy to reach. If worse comes to worse I'll just wait until they go down in price.
 
Careful cause i was told i didnt understand why people would pay the same ammount for a smaller pump when i could spend the same ammount on a bigger pump that does the same motions except it has a bigger footprint
 
I don't know why you guys are upset at the pricing. As I mentioned on the other post as I foresaw people complaining, you cannot expect to get wholesale price unless you buy in bulk. No retail store will sell something at cost when it cost them the hassle of getting it from point a to point b.

The price that the manufacturer stated is from a sales rep, who believes it maybe around 30 dollars. But the pricing is not set by the SALES REP instead by the OWNER of the company.

Everyone is entitle to their opinion, but I think everyone's expectation is a bit unreasonable.
 
IMO there should be a pretty good price difference between the wp40 and wp25. Otherwise that would be like Vortech charging the same price for the mp40 and mp10.
 
Thats my thoughts also goofy, others think its ok though because of the smaller footprint. I do understand the footprint part but i still wouldnt pay the same price for something less powerful.

Normally, I would agree. However, aren't MP40s made in the US? Freight from across the world is still a huge factor.

I mean I got two of the WP-40 for basically 50 bucks a pop but thats because I had a friend and former colleague bring them back to the states for me. Otherwise, I would be paying an arm and aleg.
 
I was really planning on seeing a $50 -$60 price on it. Makes me think i need the wp40 and dial it down with my RA. Now i have to do some heavy thinking.
