Jebao WP25 Information

Does anyone know of a 12v battery backup that will work with these? Could a wiring harness be made to hook it up to a car jump pack?

Vortech battery backup works with the WP40 WP25 pumps, other way is to use the tunze safety conector 6105.500 and a battery (what I'm using is a agm sealed 18 amh, good for 30+ hours)

got 2 wp-25 for my 93 cube, should i place them directly across from each other or one on back glass and one on the side.

A friend of mine from Hong Kong emailed me yesterday that the price of wp-25 dropped to USD$36 each excluding shipment for a group order around 100 units from Jerbo. I want to join a group buy to have a trial of this wave maker.

Do you have any laptop power supply laying around? Anything less than 24v will work. You can probably find one at Walmart.

Sorry if this was covered elsewhere but after awhile of really odd behavior, it appears one of my WP25 power supplies has died. Has anyone else tracked down an easily acquired replacement? If not, anything less than 24v would result in reduced power right? I'd like a direct replacement and am not interested in variable at all. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

So organize one.
Why are people always looking for someone else to do the work for them.
Setting up a group buy is A LOT of hard work and effort and sometime an expense to the person setting it up.

It's easy to say I want to join one.
If you really want to try this pump and a reduced cost then do something yourself to make it happen.

The Group Buy I was involved with was the first one organized and in turn some of the members of it were the first to receive, test and review the WP-25.

The WP-25 is readily available now. The only reason for a group buy is to reduce the price of it.

It's a good pump just buy it -__- it's not like your paying couple hundred.
The for the most part buy from FS and you warranty if DOA

The flip side of this notion would be IF they are $36 + shipping you could buy 2 thru a group buy for the price of one from FS. I would do that any day of the week.

I would too, if there was an organized Group Buy getting them at that price.
ferret is asking someone else to organize it for him, so he can get the reduced price.

I tried putting 1 on each side of my 90g toward the front and the flows collided and beat my corals to death. I ended up moving 1 pump to the back, bottom on the side glass and it is a lot better.

I received my new controllers on Friday.

First thing I noticed is the new controller feels cheaper/lighter than the old.

I had one controller running W1 on S2 and so far it works fine. I had the other running on Else on the white LED dimmer. They have been running this way since Friday. Today I unplugged both of them to move them around a bit. When I plugged the one in running on W1 S2 it came back on and worked fine. When I plugged the other one in with the LED dimmer, none of the mode lights came on. I can change the S1,2,3 setting and put it in lock mode but the Mode/feed button doesn't work. It is just on a constant speed. I can no longer change modes.

Sent Eric at Fish Street an email. He has been very responsive in the past. Not sure if the dimmer messed something up or not.

So far I have received 4 controller for the WP25 and 2 had problems.

eric is very good

i did not notice and quality issue bewteen the old and new controlers they both look and feel
the same
that is interesting about the led dimmer i have one but have not tried it yet
