Jebao WP25 Information

Yea I just noticed one if my pump is tripping its on 100% else mode and its feels week I put into feed 10 min later full power then later drops down.
Odd I wonder if it could be the controller or power supply. Would that mean its leaking voltage ?

Is the night mode light coming on? Are you using the light sensor? Mine seems very sensitive and will drop into night mode on a cloudy day.

I had the new sensors on it they worked perfectly on at sunrise off at about 10pm but I took them off felt like I very little flow in the display since the units where both on sensors.

I during the day I thought the sensor was making the pump maybe think it I'm night mode but no light did not show it.

Today I'm going to unplug unit from all and leave or for a few hrs hope fully it resets that's the only idea I have.

Well I got mine today, that was fast.

First impressions are that it is a pretty nice pump for the price. Can't believe how quiet it is. I have it set W1 S2 for right now, we'll see how that goes.

What size tank?

75g.

I have a question, the upgraded light sensor that you can get for a little extra works better than the stock one, but the leads are longer on this one. Can I clip them so they are flush with the controller body like the stock sensor?

I just put 2 wp25 in my 40br, a lot of power for such small footprint. I am running one wp25 on the left glass at w1 s3 and the other on the back glass pointed to right side glass with same setting. nice wave movement in the tank and you can see the current causing the coral to sway not direct flow.

Anyone experiencing a problem with the new version controller staying in mode?
With mine I keep it on H2. I notice that it powers down to night mode after awhile, even without the element inserted into the night mode slot. Once I switch to one of the wave modes, then switch back to H2, it will work correctly for a few. I left it unplugged for a while but it still gives the same problem.

Yes you can clip them shorter

Seems like the same issue I'm having its odd but it still in else mode but 50% power one works fine but I noticed it also on a rarely will do the same.

Like now. Just woke up and its running as if it is in night mode. Now when I switch to W1 for a second then switch back to H2, the power for that mode returns until it decides to do it all over again. If I keep it in W1 this problem will not happen.

I bent mine 90 degree so I can point the sensor to the room light.

Has anyone covered their wp25 to protect against wandering anenomes?

I am getting a RBTA and want to be sure I cover it.... just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions... thanks

I ordered a wp25 for my 20h. I have a few questions.

1.) If I set it on a timer to completely turn off at night will it lose the settings after being off for 10 hours?

2.) Have you had any failures of your dimmers for voltage control?

3.) Is there any reason not to disassemble and splice the dimmer into the wire after the controller and before the pump? That way the controller sees the 24v voltage it was designed for and the pump still has speed control.

For the most part I would say no. There have been some cases where the controller loses it's setting when off for a long time.

2.) Have you had any failures of your dimmers for voltage control?
I have not, I think 1 person has.

To put a controller in the control line would need more than just a dimmer. I believe there need to be some resistors and a capacitor too.

The Reef Angel cable has 2 resistors and 1 capacitor.
